Speights Coast to Coast

Running the final stretch

I photographed Team Thermatech at the 2008 Speights Coast to Coast. A New Zealand multi-sport event where competitors race from one side of the South island to the other.

We had a Thermatech tent set up at Klodyke corner (near Arthur’s Pass), and I captured the runners as they finished the 33km mountain running stage.

It was a grueling race, and everyone who took part did brilliantly.
